The question is, in a dream world without restrictions, what would you want from the gun industry? Dream a dream...


My list would include:

A semi-auto action with Savage-style barrel nut

A 12" barreled revolver in a varmint caliber (223, 22-250, etc)

A revolver action with a Savage-style barrel nut so I can swap barrels/cylinders/etc.

A laser/infrared tool that can be pointed at brass casings and tell you how much powder is inside

With Shot Show coming up, here are the items that have caught my attention

ATI's 12 gauge AR-15

Bolt action shotguns from both Browning and Savage

Sig Sauer's SIG50 50BMG

Kel-Tec RMR-30 22mag (also coming in a pistol, PMR-30, to compete with the FN 5.7)

And of course, Savage's 116/16 series "Bear Hunter" in 300WSM, 325WSM, 300Win, 338Win and new Savage chamberings in 260Rem and 6.5 Creedmore.
